In preparation for our coming together with Greensboro New Life, Goldsboro Bethel is tying up loose ends - one of which is the demolition of the 429 Main Street property.

Goldsboro Bethel Wesleyan is joining Greensboro New Life for a combined Father's Day Worship Experience followed by a pulled-pork picnic. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. A Donuts with Dad fellowship starts at 9:00 a.m. Come join us for this special day!
Sunday is our combined Father's Day service at New Life. If you are of Bethel and plan on attending the Sunday Service please consider bringing a dessert... cupcakes, rice crispy treats, fruit tray, cookies,ect. New Life will be doing the salads to go with the pulled pork. Can't wait to see everyone this weekend, have a blessed week!

Some points to remember from today's Church With No Walls celebration: We are called to not only know Christ, but to make Him known. The army of God needs soldiers. You don't have to be a preacher to be a minister. We are called not to be IMPRESSIVE, but to be EXPRESSIVE - Expressing faith is a process that requires taking the time to build the trust necessary to tell your story. We are called not to be ADMIRED, but to be INSPIRED - stop just going to church and be the church / stop expecting people to come and see when it is us that should go and be. Church isn't just a filling station - it's a sending station. It's time to follow Jesus' example of engaging people on their turf!

Goldsboro Wesleyan is so excited about being part of the CHURCH WITH NO WALLS event taking place tomorrow, May 5 at Denton Camp. It all starts with a service of celebration at 10:00 a.m. featuring singer/songwriter Noah Cleveland and then the deployment of over 300 people throughout Denton and beyond to love and serve our communities in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord! Come, see what God can do when God's People tear down the walls that separate and be THE CHURCH in their communities!
